Qutrit-based semi-quantum key distribution protocol

چکیده
This article provides the unconditional security of a semi quantum key distribution (SQKD) protocol based on 3-dimensional states. By deriving lower bound for rate, in asymptotic scenario, as function channel’s noise, we find that this has improved secret rate with much more tolerance noise compared to previous 2-dimensional SQKD protocol. Our results highlight that, similar fully protocol, increasing dimension system can increase semi-quantum distribution, well.

A qutrit Quantum Key Distribution protocol with better noise resistance
The Ekert quantum key distribution protocol [1] uses pairs of entangled qubits and performs checks based on a Bell inequality to detect eavesdropping. The 3DEB protocol [5] uses instead pairs of entangled qutrits to achieve better noise resistance than the Ekert protocol. It performs checks based on a Bell inequality for qutrits named CHSH-3 and found in [10, 13]. In this paper, we present a ne...
متن کاملSemi-Quantum Key Distribution
Secure key distribution among two remote parties is impossible when both are classical, unless some unproven (and arguably unrealistic) computation-complexity assumptions are made, such as the difficulty of factorizing large numbers. On the other hand, a secure key distribution is possible when both parties are quantum. What is possible when only one party (Alice) is quantum, yet the other (Bob...
متن کاملA New and Feasible Protocol for Semi-quantum Key Distribution
Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols make it possible for two quantum parties to generate a secret shared key. Semi-quantum Key Distribution (SQKD) protocols, such as “QKD with classical Bob” and “QKD with classical Alice” (that have both been proven robust), achieve this goal even if one of the parties is classical. However, the currently existing SQKD protocols are not experimentally feas...

متن کاملLimited Resource Semi-Quantum Key Distribution
A semi-quantum key distribution (SQKD) protocol allows a quantum user and a limited “classical” user to establish a shared secret key secure against an allpowerful adversary. In this work, we present a new SQKD protocol where the quantum user is also limited in her measurement capabilities. We describe the protocol, prove its security, and show its noise tolerance is as high as “fully quantum” ...
